What do I need to rent a car?
To rent a vehicle with Gold Wheels, you need to provide a valid driver's license (held for at least 2 years), a passport or ID card, and be at least 21 years old. No credit card deposit is required for most of our fleet
Is insurance included?
Yes, all our rentals include TPL Insurance (Third Party Liability) as standard. For extra peace of mind, we also offer Full Casco options to ensure you are fully protected during your journey in Albania.
Can you deliver the car to my location?
Yes, we offer car delivery and pick-up services directly at Tirana International Airport (Rinas) and throughout the city of Vlorë. Depending on your rental duration, we can meet you at the arrivals terminal or your specific accommodation to ensure a seamless start to your journey
Can I take the car across borders?
Yes, you can take our vehicles across borders to neighboring countries. However, this requires prior authorization from Gold Wheels and a specific Green Card insurance for cross-border travel. Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare the necessary documentation for a small additional fee.
